Unable To Download IE ?

I discovered the problem lies in the Temporary Internet Files folder. Sometimes the index.dat file can become damaged. If this occurs, you'll have to delete the index.dat file and restart your computer. Then you'll be able to download files correctly again. Follow the steps below to delete this file.
1) Open Internet Explorer.
2) Click on Tools, Click on Internet Options.
3) On the General tab under Temporary Internet Files, click on Delete Files.
4) Click Ok when it asks if you want to delete the files.
5) Under the History section on the General tab, click Clear History, then click Ok.
6) Close Internet Explorer.
7) Log off the current user and Log onto another user account such as Administrator.
8) Click on Start, Run.
9) Type CMD and Press Enter to open a command prompt.
10) Change directories to the Temporary Internet Files directory by typing the following command, substituting the correct drive letter and the word username with the correct user in Windows XP.
cd drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
Example: cd c:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
11) type del index.dat and press Enter.
12) Type Exit and press Enter to close the command prompt.
13) Restart your computer.
Once the computer has been restarted, open a web page with a link to a download. Click on the link and try to download the file. It should now work.

Sending message through Lan

1- For this run "Command Prompt" and type "IPCONFIG"

After a moment you can see connected IPs in Lan.

For example: 192.168.0.1

192.168.0.2

and etc…

2- Select one of the IPs, and type below command:

NET SEND IP MESSAGE

NET SEND is the command

IP is the IP of others

MESSAGE is your message for example: Hi dear friend!

8 People Can Use The Same Msn Dial Up Account

8 People Can Use The Same Msn Dial Up Account

its easy really. want to have an entire family on dial-up with just one bill?

step one. purchase 20 dollar a month subscription to MSN unlimited access dial up. This will include an MSN 9 cd which you will need. With the software installed, fill up your secondary account slots with new users. Make sure you pick @msn if it gives you the choice, hotmail email addresses will not work..

say the secondary account is johnsmith@msn.com type in the Dial up connection

USER : MSN/johnsmith
PASS: ******* (whatever)

connect to your local msn phone number and the other people you gave secondary accounts to will be able to do the same, while you are connected. Its a sweet deal considering everyone is paying about 2 bucks a month for internet access, especially if you cannot get broadband. if you wanted to sell off the access to people you could actually make money doing this.. but i do not suggest it.

I used to be an msn tech and this was a little known secret even to most of the employees.

After you do this you do not need the software any more. I would suggest keeping it on to micromanage everyone else's accounts. and for the simple fact that if they don't pitch in, cut them off HEHEHE

i'm on broadband now so i dont care if i tell you my little secret. anyone else knew of this?
